KERSEY'S TREATISE ON THE DOCTRINES OF FRIENDS

This is a hard cover edition in brown cloth with the title printed in gold.  It is dated 1872.  I am not certain exactly who it is published by.  The title page reads reprinted by the trustees of Green Farm on Canonicut, R.I.

The next page reads" printed by Almy, Milne& Co. Fall River, Mass.  There are 72 pages plus the end papers.  The book would have been in excellent condition but a goodly portion of the spine is missing.  All but 2".  The binding remains tight.  The book measures 9 1/2" tall.

THE BIBLE TRUE, AND INFIDELITY WICKED

This book was written by William S. Plumer, DD.  It was published by the American Tract Society.  I believe it dates to 1860.  There are 79 pages.  The book has an embossed brown cloth cover with gold text on the spine.  There is scattered foxing and a little loss to the bottom of the spine.  I think it is missing its first blank page.  The height of this book measures 6 1/4".

COBBETTS LEGACIES

This book contains two parts.  the first is titled Legacy to Parsons.  This section contains 143 pages.  The second section is titled Legacy to Laborers.  The second section contains 104 pages.  Both sections were written by William Cobbett Esq.  This edition was published in 1835 by John Doyle of New York.  It has an embossed blue clothe cover.  There is some loss to the spine and wear and bumping to the edges.  There is scattered foxing  and a light water stain about two inches long in the center of the book.  The book measures 6 1/2" tall.

SERPENT AND SIVA WORSHIP AND MYTHOLOGY, IN CENTRAL AMERICA, AFRICA, AND ASIA.  AND THE ORIGIN OF SERPENT WORSHIP

This interesting book was written by Hyde Clarke and C. Staniland Wake.  It was published in 1877 by J. W. Bouton of new York.  It is in gray paper wraps.  The book contains 48 pages followed by numerous pages advertising other books by the publisher.  There is a separation of 3/4 the front cover caused by chewing to 3/4 of the spine.  There is a water stain to the lower right corner of the cover and pages.  The book measures 8 1/2" tall.

GOD IN HISTORY

The full title of this book is The Hand Of God In History; or Divine Providence Historically Illustrated in The Extension and Establishment of Christianity.  The author is Hollis read, AM.  It was published in Hartford, Connecticut by H. E. Robbins and Co. in the year 1855.  The book is in very good condition.  It has a brown cloth cover  with decorative gold highlights..  The book measures 8" X 5 1/4".

BOOK OF PRAISE OR HYMNS AND TUNES

The full title of this page is The Book of Praise or Hymns and Tunes for Public and Social Worship.  It was prepared under the sanction ans authority , and in behalf of the General Association of  Connecticut.  The book is published Hartford by Brown  and Gross  Philadelphia:  J. B. Lippincott & Co. the copyright dage is 1868.  This is a scarce book in very good condition with a previous owner's name in pen on the fron page and cracking  to the front and back hings and a bit of wear to the top and bottom of the spine and corners..  Otherwise it is a clean and tight early copy in brown cloth with gold lettered spine..

PILATE AND HEROD : A TALE ILLUSTRATIVE OF THE EARLY HISTORY OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, IN THE PROVINCE OF MARYLAND

This book was written by Rev. Harvey Stanley Rector of the Holy Trinity.  It was in 1853 by H. Hooker of Philadelphia.  The edition contains both volumes I & II .    Volume I contains 284 pages.  Vol II contains 283 pages.  The binding is loose.  There is significant loss to the spine.  The covers are very faded.    The height of the book is 7 3/4"

STUDIES IN PESSIMISM

This book titled Studies in Pessimism was written by Arthur Schopenhauer.  The publisher of this edition is New American Library.  There is no copyright date but he book appears to date to the 1920's.  It is in very good condition.  The chapters are as follows:  On the Sufferings of the World, On the Vanity of Existance, On Suicide, Immortality: A Dialogue, Psychological Observaiions, On Education.
